| For his excellent writeups and walkthroughs, and all the effort he puts into this site. His clutch replacement write up was my single source of information for replacing my clutch. Without it I would have never been able to accomplish it myself. Well after two years of driving with intake/exhaust/ecu my stock clutch, as many people predicted, finally bit the dust last October. Mileage: 97k Upon some spirited driving, I pulled my car out of gear, and coasted for a bit. It resisted going back into any gear and would grind when forced. Upon removing the transmission this is what I seen: 
Apparently the metal holding the spring in had broken and ejected the spring.
Replaced the rear main seal, TOB, and Pilot bushing. 
Ordered up a new Southbend OFE-X clutch and flywheel from Joe: 


After getting sent a flywheel from a z31 the first time, and then a flywheel that had been machined improperly the second time, I finally got all my parts and the install done. But for about 4 months, this is all I had to stare at:
